This recipe is a great way to enjoy a French Canadian treat! This pie has the consistency of a pecan pie, less the pecans.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (250 ml) maple syrup
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk (175 ml) - 3.25% preferred; no fat-free milk, please!
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar
- 1 8in or 9in pie shell, unbaked
Steps:
- Preheat oven at 350F/
- Mix thoroughly maple syrup, eggs, milk and brown sugar
- Pour mixture in pie shell
- Bake in oven for about 40 minutes
- Let rest 10 minutes
Portion:
Gives a full pie.
